Smack-dab in the middle of the Burbank Oil Field is the town of Burbank, Oklahoma. It it's hey day it hosted oilfield-bunks, saloons, brothels, a large population of workers.
Of course, during the first Oklahoma oil boom, there were big payrolls in town........ the bank was robbed so many times they took to putting bullet-proof glass in the building.
This church is slowly sinking, no one goes here anymore, but I caught it with the afternoon light.
