Caught by a Spring snowstorm near an abandon ranch house and decided to investigate.
Tromping around in the cold mud, I wonder about this pile of lumber. Just two different lengths of wood, I soon realize it's made up of fence parts, the cross-bar fencing you see in the northern rangelands.
I suppose finding a bad spot, you'd stop by the spare parts pile and pick what you'd need to fix the fence. For now, it has great contrast.
