The clouds sink low over the Tetons in Jackson's Hole, but a brief sun-storm gave some great light on the sagebrush.
Looking at the map, we wondered about a 4WD road on public land along the east bank of the Snake River, so off we went. A day when we would drive a mile, stop and take pictures... then go another bit of distance, stop and capture more. I think we averaged 5 MPH for the day.... so much to see and snap.
Another image that started with a simple tripod shot, then really improved if you stretched out on the muddy ground, shooting up. Laying in the wet sagebrush, squinting thru a viewfinder isn't much fun...
but then the sun pops out for 30 seconds and it's worth it.
